NEWS UPDATE: Wednesday 7th November 2018
We've filmed a video for "Ten Thousand Miles Away" - the lead track from our recent EP "Caledonian Scars 'n Bars".
It was filmed at the rather spooky Neidpath Tunnel, an abandoned 600m long railway tunnel in the Scottish Borders,
by local film maker Tom Swift.
The EP is available to download from all the usual platforms and the video can be viewed via the link below:

NEWS UPDATE: Wednesday 1st August 2018
Our "Caledonian Scars 'n Bars" EP was recorded in April and released in June, receiving worldwide airplay and positive feedback. It was great to hear all four songs getting airtime rather than just the lead track, which proves that people have actually listened to the whole EP!
There are plans to film a video for "Ten Thousand Miles Away" over the coming months.
I spent a week in July in Shetland where I guested on Tom Morton's "Beatcroft Social" radio show on 60 North Radio, playing some of my own songs and also a few records that have caught my attention over the years.
People have been asking about possible gigs but it's proving too expensive to tour at present.
All available money has been sunk into recording, releasing and filming.
I hope we can level out financially and at least play a few UK gigs next year.
We'd hoped to do a one-off support for The Church at their forthcoming Edinburgh Liquid Rooms gig on 2nd November, however time restrictions dictated by the venue mean that no support is possible that night due to the venue changing to a "Disco" at 10pm and requiring the main band to play at the ludicrously early time of 7:30pm.
The "make way for the disco" thing seems to be a common occurrence these days and is more than a little annoying.
Otherwise, stay tuned for good things happening...because good things WILL happen!
Slainte!

NEWS UPDATE: Thursday 13th July 2017:
Apologies! I always forget to update the News Page!
Our singles "Make A Home" and "Faded By The Sun" were released in September 2016 and February 2017 respectively, receiving favourable reviews, worldwide radio plays and are available from Amazon, iTunes and all good download platforms.
Videos for both songs were filmed in March of 2017 and can be found on YouTube.
A new track entitled "Coney Island Rain" was recorded during May and June of 2017...not so much a "song" as such...more of a "soundscape" for possible use as a TV or movie theme.
A mix is available to hear on our Soundcloud page.
Check our Homepage for links to all of the above.
We have been offered some future live work, so gigs will be hopefully happen during 2018.
More news as it happens!

NEWS UPDATE: Saturday, 9th July, 2016:
After a series of extremely productive rehearsals, we're heading for the studio on Monday 11th July to initially record four new songs, with a view to a full album release in 2017.
We will be recording in a full *live* situation for the first time since our debut EP in 1988, as all our subsequent recordings were done mainly small studios using drum machines and computers.
The 12-string Rickenbacker guitar and Hammond organ are being polished up as I type!
All being well, we'll have something really good in the can over the next couple of weeks.
It feels good to be back!
Slainte!
